Through the International Parliamentary Scholarship of the German Bundestag, American college graduates with a strong command of German can join around 120 young people from 41 countries for five months of immersion in the German democratic process, including three months working in a Member’s office. The IPS program, under the patronage of the President of the Bundestag, strengthens ties between Germany and participating countries while promoting democratic values, tolerance, and peace between nations.
