Welcome to GERMAN WORLD MAGAZINE – the premier bilingual German-English culture and entertainment magazine in the US.

It is our mission to promote German culture in the US, inform about interesting German-American businesses, personalities, products and events, interconnect the various German-American communities on a national level, and promote German as a foreign language.

The magazine is published quarterly and available as print and e-version reaching more than 40,000 readers per issue.

The publication is complemented by additional editorial content on our website www.german-world.com and our electronic newsletter “GW eNews.”

  1. It is with deep sadness that I am informing the GW staff of the recent passing of Robert Deglau. Robert was my best friend and I learned much of my knowledge in German culture from him. He was very active in the German community in Milwaukee. He hosted a German radio station for many years. Through him I learned the German language. Ich habe mein Deutsch vom einem Freund von Robert gelernt. I pray for the eternal repose of his soul and may God grant him a special place in heaven.
